"Last year we raised about $1,800 for the people in this area. Along with clothing and food items, we used this money to start 10 micro-finance businesses. While in the village of Kadawa, we asked what the greatest need was. The answer? Drinking water. This year we raised $18,000 and have started the process of sinking a deep well.
